Edit an event

Corrects selected fields of an existing life event: detail, quantity, unit, note or date. Requires the event id; omitted fields remain unchanged.

Access: Changes records the person already has.

Time limit: 25 seconds, then the call stops with an error.

Errors

This tool's own errors, each returned with isError: true:

Event not found — check the eventId against the recent events list.

Every tool returns isError with a message when its arguments don't match the schema, a limit is reached, the person turned the agent off, or iAM360 has a problem. See Errors and limits.
